On That Note: Chinese Zodiacracy

“Year of the Snake” in China’s Lunar New Year sequence began Jan. 29 and concludes Feb. 16, 2026.

For this segment, we seek songs with title or lyrics involving animals in the Chinese zodiac.

Here’s the list:
Dog
Dragon
Goat
Horse
Monkey
Ox
Pig
Rabbit
Rat
Rooster
Snake
Tiger

Reasonable extension is OK (e.g., rattlesnake). But don’t stretch too far into “almost” (like “mouse is sort of like a rat.”) Additionally, band name isn’t enough on its own. In cases when such groups have a title/lyric fitting theme, that’s allowed, naturally.
