Omaha Cyclone fans...what radio stations do you listen to for Cyclone game broadcasts? I tried 960 AM from Shenandoah, but it is still a weak signal. Is there anything else you can pick up here that has a stronger signal? How about online streaming? I can't find anything on TuneIn that isn't blocked during the games.

Yes, this is a major problem in Omaha and Lincoln. The Cyclone network is very weak at night as Shenandoah is more than fifty miles away. Frankly, JP should be out soliciting for a station to broadcast clone sports in the Omaha area.

Funny Hok side note. I was in an Omaha HyVee yesterday and they were trying to clear out bag of Hok tortilla chips for a buck. No buyers.

Over the air, 960 is the only option. Online they are not allowed to have free broadcasts of sporting events. Cyclones.tv is the best option for online radio broadcast. So basically, Omaha sucks for Cyclones coverage.

I got the radio broadcast ln Council Bluffs from 540 KWMT in Fort Dodge, but the signal is only good in daylight hours as the station powers down at night.

I don't know if you can get that in Omaha or not but its the only station that I could get in Co Bluffs when 960 Shenandoah was NOT broadcasting the games and was doing UNI games.

I hope that helps.

I think that fans in the Omaha area should just drop Jamie a line and see if a station in Omaha would be willing to do the cyclone broadcasts.

I've been known to pull out the car from the garage and listen to a game at night a time or 2 or stand out in the cold so my radio can get better reception.
With a good radio, I've had some luck picking up Atlantic 96.5 at night but that isn't always the case. I live in west Omaha.
Daytime is easy as KMA and 540 KWMT out of Ft Dodge come in easily.

When on the road, nighttime broadcasts west Omaha are the pits. You need to point the car antenna east on a hill, hope the cloud cover is not a problem, hope a Texass megastation does not override, and hope some other event has not usurped the broadcast.

Thanks everyone. Good to know the daytime reception might be better for those AM stations. I was trying it at night. I have gotten a 1-month cyclones.tv subscription in the past, just to cover a single game I really wanted. Fortunately, there are a fair number of games on FoxSports so I can see both fball and bball a few times each season.

I am surprised that more people just dont get cyclones.tv.

Even with Cyclone.TV it's nice to have radio. We ought to have a meaningful presence available 24/7 in Omaha-CB- Lincoln area. It's really annoying to tune in Iowa on 590. Can't help recruiting.
