Game Control. Utah has won handily, OU has struggled at times. However OU has played a tougher schedule and just improved their game control with the OSU win.

How's that game control working for Utah now? It's all relative... you control a game against the Patriots and I'm impressed. Control a game against Rutgers and well that means you aren't awful.

Probably been brought up already, and I'm not willing to search the thread for it, but neither Oklahoma nor Utah get in if Georgia beats LSU (and it's not looking good for Utah at the moment).

Normally I'd cheer for Georgia in the SEC Championship, but they're not playing Alabama tomorrow.

No dog in this fight but it's fun when a team like Oregon goes right at what's supposed to be a team's strength and destroys it.

Game control ... apparently that's this season's buzz "metric" that provides the committee with a vague, handy explanation for putting one team ahead of another (apparently under the guise of not over-weighting running up the score).

Anyone else tired of offenses getting bailed out with pass interference flags on under thrown balls?

Totally agree. Defender was fighting for possession and his body was turned to the ball - and was flagged anyway. To add the cherry on top of the **** call, Herbie called it a "good call".

I guess the defender having the same right to the ball only applies when it's convenient.

I wouldn't go that far. Just means you're not Rutgers-level awful.

Herbie sounds really thrilled to see the Big12 jump back into the playoff hunt.
Glad to see the Ducks expose UU as a tad over-rated.

That’s crazy.

It really is when you consider the fact that like half of those years they were a 10 team league and most of the other half a 12 team league. They’ve only been at 14 since 2012.

at this point the winner of OU vs Baylor(puke) should be in honestly... UGA lost to a 4-8 team at home. they shouldn't even be in the conversation at all.
I’m afraid two SEC teams are in with a Georgia win.

Big 12 Championship is basically a National Quarterfinal
