In the Nuggets' easy win over Cleveland, Monte ended up with 15 pts in 19 MIN with 6-7 FG (3-4 fr 3pt), 3 AST, 2 STL and 0 TO.

In Friday night's easy win over the Bulls, he had 6 pts in 16 MIN with 3-7 FG (0-3 3pt), 1 REB, 5 AST and 0 TO.

In OKC's 117-115 win over the 76ers, Abdel Nader played 8 MIN and had 3 PTS on 1-2 FG (1-1 from 3) and 2 REB.

On Friday, OKC's bench really got drilled in the 2nd quarter and the Thunder never recovered, in a 138-128 loss to the Lakers. Abdel played 11 minutes and scored 1 pt on 0-3 FG, 1-2 FT and 1 REB.

It's good to see Nader is staying in the rotation but OKC still has a number of injuries. The guy's worked his tail off.

With 4 straight games without a turnover and no games with 2 turnovers since DEC 26, Monte has improved his assist-to-turnover ratio to better than 6. He's still 2nd in the NBA at 6.03, with Minnesota's Tyus Jones at 6.3.

The networks must LOVE Abdel Nader. Or maybe PG13 and Russ. The Thunder are/is on NBA TV both Monday and Tuesday.

MLK afternoon game - OKC Thunder vs. the Knicks at 12:30 PM ET / 11:30 AM CT on NBA TV.

On Tuesday, they have the Trailblazers on NBA TV at 8pm ET / 7pm CT.

With Alex Abrines returning to the active roster - though not yet the rotation - Abdel Nader responded in a big way in this afternoon's game in NYC. OKC beat the Knicks 127-109 and our guy had a BIG game off the bench for the Thunder.

Abdel played 20 MIN, scored 16 PTS on 6-9 FG (2-3 3 PT) with 6 REB, 2 AST, 2 STL and 2 TO. Dang, now I have to find a replay to watch that. From the Thunder's Twitter feed (he finishes so well with the left hand):

That's great! I checked in when he had just five minutes under his belt, with only one point.

Local Twin Cities Alumni Club is going to set up a last minute ticket buy to go see Monte Morris and the Nuggets play Saturday Feb 2 versus the Timberwolves at 8:00. Will be two tiers of ticket prices from Wolves or be on your own for tickets. Tickets aren't that hard to find as the Wolves are in the usual funk.

Will post info back here as soon as I get links and confirmation from Wolves. Will also have an informal pre-game gathering near Target Center.

Georges Niang got some rotation minutes - 6 MIN of PT - last night in the Jazz' 109-104 loss to the Blazers (the Jazz have been hot). He recorded no points or significant stats in his time (0-2 FG).

Abdel Nader and the Thunder will be on NBA TV again tonight at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT against Portland. It will be interesting to see if Alex Abrines - back from an injury - gets playing time and if Abdel's minutes are affected. Abrines getting hurt is really what opened the door for Nader to get rotation minutes.

Nuggs and Jazz are the late game for ESPN tonight. Georges has been getting a few MPG and Monte has been getting MPG in the teens recently.

Abdel Nader got 10 minutes of playing time last night for the Thunder but basically accumulated no stats beyond a foul.

I'm reiterating what @Doc said above -- it's Niang vs. Morris tonight on ESPN at 10:30 ET / 9:30 CT. 2nd quarter should see Georges and Monte on the court at the same time - at least there's a good chance. I'm recording it.

Monte's gotta carry his own bags onto the plane? (Ok, it IS a charter)

The Jazz are instigating everything and still getting all the calls. What a joke.

I haven't yet watched my recording of the Nuggets-Jazz game last night. Good win for Utah and it moves them up to #7 seed for the moment (a few weeks ago, they were not in "playoff position."

Georges played 10 minutes and missed all of his shots (0-2 from 3). It's disappointing because he shot around 45% from 3 in the G League and I think the Jazz saw him as a possible 3-pt specialist off the bench, a role now played by Pella's own Kyle Korver.

The NBA's current #2 in assist-to-turnover, had, well no assists and 2 turnovers. He hadn't had a 2-TO game in a long time. Anyway, Monte still contributed in his 23 minutes, with 4-4 shooting and 2-2 in FT for 10 pts.

The ONLY Cyclone to show up in a highlight on either Twitter feed was Naz Mitrou-Long, on a reaction to a Korver trey:
