He had 27 TDs and 2 picks one year

Yeah, a whole lot of short memories, butthurt Vikes fans, or both in here. Foles had the third best season ever for a QB (based on QB rating) in 2013. He also had a game that season where he threw 7 TD passes with 0 INTs. That doesn't mean he's one of the best QBs in the NFL right now, but to pretend he's completely inexperienced or a worthless player is ill informed.

I remember that season, I also remember his last couple years. The dude was picking a part an elite defense. He played incredible

He’s not the most consistent, but they put him in positions to succeed, and he did. Just like when chip Kelly did it.

Yup, good coaching can lead to good things. They knew exactly how to put him in the right spots, and then on top of that he made some great throws and good decisions.

Man if Case didn't fumble the ball it would have been a 14-10. Instead, it turned into a eagles TD 21-7 and all the momentum. Not sure how much it would have changed the game but after that play the Vikings completely lost it.

I think the fact that the Vikes D didn’t show up had more to do with the outcome of that game instead of a single turnover.

Was a fun season to be a Vikes fan and like all but one team it ends in disappointing fashion. Amazing job by the Eagles as the season went on. They overcame a ton of injuries even beyond Wentz.

Obviously the QB situation is a huge question mark, but otherwise the Vikings are in really good shape with free agents. Tom Johnson, McKinnon, and Sherels are really the only important free agents other than the QBs. Despite the terrible night it will be great to have the defense intact.

But now we have to worry about a healthy Rodgers coming back. :-/

It's hard to be disappointed in a season like Minnesota just had and considering the status if free agents the team should be ready for another run, but between the Rodgers injury and the Wentz injury this year was a good opportunity. They did a good job getting bargains to piece together a serviceable OL after having that high priced injury prone disaster last year. They can franchise Keenum, upgrade the OL, and get more DB depth. With a healthy Cook the offense should take a step forward. It will still not be great, but good enough to win plenty of games.

It will be interesting to see what the Vikes do with the QBs. I don't think they will franchise Case but hopefully he will sign for less money in the $13-15 million range. Would not be surprised to see them go OL and DB with their first two draft picks.

In the end, a Packer did end up beating the Vikings

In a Vikings-Eagle thread it somehow involves the Packers. All we need is for some TOE fan to tell us Philly won because of where one of their players went to college.

A lot of talk Ive heard is that Case really likes Shurmer and he will follow him.

Of course the Packers are involved. Because as a good, loyal Packer fan, I can't sit idly by when Minnesota got the holy living **** beat out of them. It's not like you guys sat on your hands after it happened to us last year, so suck it!

Were you one of the "good, loyal" Packer fans sending love notes to Anthony Barr?
Or were you idle, like most Packers this year?

Although I think the Anthony Barr hit was unnecessary, it was a legal hit that happens every game in the NFL and college level. So most packer fans weren't sending love notes to him.
