Nobody is defending this performance. They are playing like they did @ Missouri or @ Colorado. The reason those were close and this is not is because Marist is actually a good team.
That doesn't mean that Marist isn't a good team. Duke has (1) superior athletes to ISU (and Marist) (2) Duke will press full-court to bother Marist (which is not BF's style, and (3) Duke is playing at home.
Marist is an excellent team. They are exposing ISU. Great coaching job.
