Game 2

Each of these early games will be very interesting. Who will play and how much? What are the rotations TJ will be trying? Can we shoot? Is our defense still great.

Can't wait. Go Cyclones!

My post from another thread:

The bad news is that our next game is against a 2-0 opponent (Kansas City Roos) who is fresh off a 124-36 win. That's right, 124-36.

The good news is this win was against Kansas Christian College.

That's what I enjoy most about these early games.

Kansas City probably is the most-challenging of the bye-game opponents. Still ought to be comfortable, but could take a little longer to get a cushion, compared to MVSU, IU-Indy and Morgan State. (Jackson State and Omaha are somewhere between those extremes).

Hoping to see progress in some of the nit-picky things from the other night: less hero ball, bigs finishing better, crisper rotations on D, improved 3 point shooting. Curious again how TJ mixes lineups! After watching Auburn take down UH, we need to be well oiled after these 3 tune up games

The Roos have some decent pieces back from last year's team that 'hung around' at KU. They are usually well coached and will get some rebounds they shouldn't to keep it closer that it should be.

This isn't a super bold prediction, but I could see this game being within 15 at half and ending up around a 28-30 point difference. I'll call 84-56. I feel like we'll shoot well enough to leave zero doubt in the 2nd half.
