11 minutes? You guys let me down. I think OK State may be the 2nd most talented team in the big12 with Nash, Smart, Forte, and Co. Tough game but hope we can hit some 3's and Melvin has a big night.

Key to victory is shut down two parts of the three man machine. Brown, Nash, Smart. We can let one go off but the other two get nothing.

Also, the sutton family is full of drunks. Go state go.

I looked back over all of our previous schedules to see if I could spot a trend that helps explain why we have such a long streak of losing at Stillwater. For instance, I wondered if the Oklahoma State away game kept being the "letdown game" after a big win, such as those at Lawrence. Nope. Doesn't seem to have ever been a let-down game after a big win. However, it has been the game after losses to several ranked teams (including a #1 Missouri in 1989-90).

So, no statistical factor on paper to focus on. Guess we have to just go down there and actually play the game to win it. I hope FH gets them focused on what this means going forward . . . Top 25 ranking . . . Big 12 conference ranking . . . NCAA tourney seed. I think this is a team that wants some respect. Winning games like this is what it takes to earn it.

I think we will be ready to play tonight. If we are hot from 3, we have a chance.

I like the way this game shapes up. Oklahoma State depends too much on one guy for offense and Babb is due for a "shut down" game. If we have a normal offensive game, perhaps with one guy stepping up, we are in good shape. The more I hear about FH's play calling (and massive notebook of plays), the better I feel about our chances at the end of close games.

Plus, the overall feel of the team is good. We know we are better than everyone expected, but not so cocky that we think we can't lose to a Texas Tech. I expect that loss to keep us focused in games like this where we can show the country that we are for real.

and money - it'll be on ESPN3... but I'm sure it'll be blacked out for some.

.
Have you watched Ok St play? Ok St does not depend on one guy. They have 4 players averaging between 11.6 and 14.9 pts/pg. Any of the four can go off for 20+. Nash, Brown, and Smart can all create.

Our end of game and end of half performances have been pretty poor the past few years imo. Most of it has been on players not executing though.

I agree. I think Ok St could stroll into this thinking they can just show up and win since it's at home. Sure they've won all their home games in conference but they've played TCU, Tech, and WVU. They've subsequently lost by 6-10 points against K-State, Baylor, and Oklahoma (all on the road, but still). Couple that with Kansas on their horizon and maybe we can get up early and hold on down the stretch.

It probably didn't help that ISU played there every other year when the Big XII had 12 teams.
