That’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile. Always felt sad for the guy - seemed to work hard and yet never got his chance in the NCAA.
That didn't work. I put about 100 spaces between this and since but it squeezed them back together. The post is from Sept 18th, 2016.
Better late than never! Besides, it's funner to talk BB, even old BB, versus the alternative. At the moment anyway.
I like TJ's chances in that horse race.
Two certainties:
1. Iowa finishes in the also-rans
2. they will say it is because of NIL
Not sure if anyone caught it but CW mentioned it’s going to be an interesting month in BBall recruiting. I think we’re going to get Bynum.
Second in-home in the last week with Bynum. I’m not sure if it’s confirmed but he is supposedly visiting Ames this upcoming weekend as well. We definitely seem to be turning up the heat here which is usually a good sign with this staff.
Bynum seems to be working his way into joining Batemon in that tier 1 priority range.
I just saw Nebraska has the most Crystal Balls for Bynum. So it will be interesting if we start seeing them change.

Bynum is from Omaha so natural potential connections with Nebraska and Creighton. The entire time his dad was at ISU, Fred's jersey was hanging in the raftors.
You could make an argument that Creighton, Nebby, and Iowa all have new coaches by the time he enrolls. Especially the latter two.
Is McDermott looking to retire? Seems like he is doing a good job at Creighton
