A month or two sure seems like an eternity in recruiting. Can't find the link but it quoted Sexton mentioning he definitely wanted to visit Arizona, Florida,.....and yes, Iowa State. Now he's been on two officials to NCState, Alabama, and goes to OklaSt and Kansas next. What the heck? When did Okie State get his interest? Oh well, time to move on...we'd a had a visit by now if we were still 'in the picture'.
Sexton has been a long shot for a while now but I do think the staff is still recruiting him and he last listed ISU as one of the schools in his top 10. I really get the sense he is going to take his time in deciding and think he'll wait to sign until the spring.
It shouldn't be forgotten one of the reasons he has interest in ISU is being friends with Monte, and if he does decide to visit I would expect him to try to get to Hilton to watch him in person.
According to the latest is he plans to make a commitment in November before his high school season starts.
I agree. At least we'd be getting an in-home with him by now. But nothing. Obviously friends with Monte is the closest he gets to Cyclonenation. Bummer. Just don't prefer to see him on an opponent big 12 team.
Yeah but we've been paying our recruits better lately. Hope we left enough in our slush fund budget to get Stokes.

Someone visited Davian Cole-Johnson yesterday per his Twitter, JUCO wing.
In case you're like me and forgot who Davion Cole-Johnson is, here is a piece from Jared Stansbury:
"Cole-Johnson averaged 18.2 points per game last season for Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. as a freshman. The 6-foot-4-inch, prospect is listed as a forward on the MGCCC website, but it seems likely that he would shift into a guard role at the college level.
He is a capable 3-point shooter and shot 31.6 percent from behind the arc during his first season with the Bulldogs. He’s an above average rebounder for his height which shows from his 5.6 boards per game."
