I'm guessing that the freezing rain has something to do with it.How do those wind turbines down there freeze but the ones in Iowa don’t?
Same reason everyone's car down there freezes up...cheap antifreeze and windshield wiper fluid. How do those wind turbines down there freeze but the ones in Iowa don’t?
I think this is in New Orleans
Hour seven for me...One of my colleagues in Dallas has been without power since early this AM and it's single digits there. They are not prepared for something like this.

Need to find that “friend” to cuddle up with and entertain each other during these times. I’m married so the wife would make me manually crank the furnace if the generator didn’t fire up.Hour seven for me...
Yeah, hoping that doesnt hit midamerican here or we're in for a world of hurt.So be on the lookout for your power provider's rolling blackout notice
They shut off once it hits a certain degree. Iowa ones are off too.How do those wind turbines down there freeze but the ones in Iowa don’t?
Might be a dumb question but do texas residences have heating systems?Hour seven for me...
