Their scheduled arrival time in Ames, last I heard before my sister left, was 11am on new years day.

Buses move slowly. 28 hour drive was what they were planning on, iirc.

Correct, they don't leave Orlando until Friday morning. Spending the day tomorrow at Universal Studios.

Took them 30+ hours to get down there, including several pickup stops and other breaks along the way.
