My bad, wasn't meaning to say Rizzo won't be in the lineup. Meant will he be somewhere other than the three spot

I could see Joe dropping him to 5th. I also think Heyward plays tonight.

Fowler CF
Baez 3B
Bryant LF
Zobrist 2B
Rizzo 1B
Russell SS
Heyward RF
Ross/Contreras C
Lackey P

I'm probably way wrong...

3- KB-LF
4- Rizzo-1B
5- Baez- 3B
6- Russell-SS
7- Heyward- RF
8- Contreras- C
9- Lackey-P

There's no way Rizzo drops from his 3rd spot, that's a move that screams panic. I think we see Javy at 3B tonight with Bryant in LF, Heyward in RF and Contreras catching.

Joe won't move KB and Rizzo. I like KB in the 2 hole (lulz) because of the potential for extra ABs for both of them. I think big game Lackey shows up tonight.

Time to covert hits into actual runs. WAY too many guys on base last night without converting. Hopefully the offense wakes up because outside of the pitchers, the regulars are overdue for some big hits.

I guess looking at box score, both teams left 10 on.... But Rizzo and Montero seem to be the biggest problem with 3 and 4 respectively.....

WHY IS HEYWARD HITTING IN FRONT OF BAEZ??

Also, with a lesser degree of indignation, same question applies to Russell.

I would assume they are trying to make sure that Heyward sees as many fastballs as possible.

They showed a graphic last night that showed Heyward is especially bad at hitting the fastball this year, well below league average, and I believe even worse other pitch types.

Yo, Joe - how about you try to put some people on base in front of the one dude who is hitting in the lineup? His name is Javier.

Sincerely,
JBone84

I think its okay to write open letters when last night's game started at 8:40 pm and got over at 1:45 am...or maybe I'm delirious.

Im on my second Monster of the day, and rarely ever have one. For some reason I thought the game tonight was at 7, but I see its at 7:40. You know you're tired when you get mad about losing 40 mins of sleep...

Kind of forgot how dominate Lackey was in Game 1 of the NLDS last year. Took a no hitter into the 6th before allowing a single to Russell, and the only other hit was a bunt that Scwarber put down. 2 hits, 1 walk and 5 K's with 85 pitches over 7 1/3, and he probably should of stayed in the game when he was pulled. However, you'll probably recall how bad he was when they brought him back on 3 days rest...
