Yeah, I wouldn't want that as our national anthem. It's a fine song, but doesn't pass the Olympic test for me (can I see it playing during the medal ceremony at the Olympics)

That's true, it's a little socialist-y. You would probably prefer, "I paid fair market value for this land, get your own damn land"

I really hope we bring him on as an assistant some day, as no one can sell Cyclone basketball like Naz Long. Guy pumps me up every time I hear him talk.

I'm thinking the exact same; nowadays I always listen for his post-game comments. He really does seem like he has a coaching mind. I know last year's Senior Night, coach introduced Niang as the "next future Cyclone coach", but Naz could be the real deal.

It was pretty cool. I remember when they did it for Melvin Ejim too. I don't know if other schools do it but it's a nice gesture for our Canadian players and in 4 years we'll hopefully do it again for Wigginton!

Loved watching Naz sing along with O Canada. Showed how much he appreciated hearing it. Just like when we played it for Ejim.
