NU's Sadler - what is he thinking

Sadler announced signing Christopher Niemann, 6'11" 230 lb center from the same German team as Lucca, with the same two paid players. The JournalStar article [no link] mentions the NCAA situation, but, doesn't suggest any concerns. Sadler desperately needs to replace Maric, but, does he think he can get around the NCAA? Or, is he willing to wait a year. The year off could be like a red-shirt season, not so bad if you know about it going in.

I would not be surprised if this guy plays, with no attention from the NCAA whatsoever, while Lucca toils in purgatory. That is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to us.

They probably already have a ruling from the NCAA on his playing status!!

One would hope that by next fall there will be a ruling for Lucca and Nebraska will know if they can bring him in or let him go based on what Lucca gets.
