A game like tonight didn't hurt that cause. A Rutgers/Michigan or ISU/Baylor circa 2013 type game would have done major damage. Guys watching tonight see a good fan base, good coaching staff and a team that is getting closer to where it needs to be

If the coaching staff can keep this current recruiting class together I will be thoroughly impressed. This is my biggest concern. As we saw with Paul, not getting good recruits makes things that much more difficult.

I hope you are right. Damn I'm sick of losing. It's gotten to the point where I would accept falling out of the P5 in 8 years just to have any sort of success. Losing is a disease and it's taking over portions of this fan base.

Recruiting is the key to everything. Just lost too many good players to injuries and the coaching change. There is absolutely no depth in either line, and the OL has been bailing wire and duct tape since the first snap of the season. Just got to get more guys that can play, especially in the trenches.
