I kinda like how they took the logo off the side, and went with the tape on the front instead. It has kind of a "We don't care what other people think of us" look going on.

I think they just do that for Spring Practice. Really no reason to have them on their.

Wait, those practice jerseys are a different shade of yellow. Crap, looks like a new uniform change...

Totally agree. It's like a hard core urban look. We know who we are so why bother. It makes us edgy.

Some schools gave them a sort of test-run in the fall. I guess we're doing it now?

Here's the Riddell Revolution Speed (the helmet Darks is wearing): Riddell: Product Detail

And here's the original Riddell Revolution (what most of the team is wearing, Peyton Manning was one of the first to ever wear it): Riddell: Product Detail

Personally I think they're both kinda big and goofy looking, but they provide greater protection than the Schutt Air Advantage and Riddell VSR helmets

The Schutt DNA helmets are much better than the revolutions, I think. They were so much more comfortable, and felt really good. Maybe it was just the shape of my head that fit in them better.

The advantage of the revolution helmets is that they have a softer shell cover more of the jaw, both to help reduce concussions.
