New Alumni Assoc Credit Card - Old Logo

Just received my new BOA Iowa State Alumni Association Credit Card valid through July 2013. Still has the old Cy logo with all the blue in it.

How the heck did this happen?

Pretty much the same thing on the checks from BOA - wish they'd update quicker.

I was hoping since the Alumni Association was involved it might actually be updated and current. Guess not.

Mine is the same way. Issued last fall (I think), expires next fall. AA magazine has been showing the new logo in the card advertisements for years it seems.

Mine is a picture of the Campanile. It looks great. I don't really remember picking between a logo and the campus picture though.

I would take some of the older logos (Non-blue bird) over the I-State one.

If your new credit cards come in with the old logo or with the Campanile instead of the new logo, contact customer service at Bank of America (800-421-2110) or contact the Alumni Association (877-478-2586 - ask for Scott). The new logo cards have been out for over a year and while there were some transitional issues to the new card early on, there should be absolutely no reason for them to be issuing the card with the "old" Cy.

I didn't like the blue either. But the I-State logo is the most boring logo I've ever seen.

My card has the campanile in the top left, The I State, top center, BOA top right and the cyclone cardinal as the main logo. All are cardinal and gold logos on a white background. I asked for a new one last fall.

I like the I-State logo, too. Not perfect by any means, but it has a classic "collegiate" look to it.

I'd still like Cy-nado if it didn't have that gawdawful navy blue in it. And the lettering looks extremely dated. (The standalone Cy with cardinal/gold is cool)
