Been a long time season ticket holder for wrestling as well, seems like as cyclone fans wrestling has had a kindered spirit with football, all the might have beens.

Trully excited for Kevin Jackson as the coach. Cael albeit was the best wrestler I will ever witness, he seemed to propetuate the Bobby Douglas school of stalling. Works for freestyle, but not folkstlye. The funny thing was Bobby Douglas was actually more vocal than Cael, kinda missed the timely HAND POSITION coaching that Douglass would yell.

Kevin Jackson seems to be a little more aggresive, atleast we won't have any more stall calls to secure a 1 point loss.

Any official word on who our 125lb will be?

Thanks for getting my mind off of football. I'm excited to see if KJ will be the next coach to take us to a national championship. Keep us in the top 5 anyway with a shot at the nc.

I hope he has the grapplers grapple like Nate Carr used to and have the victim come out after the match like he had been through a tornado.

Jackson is stoked to the be the coach here and fully expects to have his team winning championships. I admit I'm not much of a wrestling fan, but as a fan of Cyclone athletics I'm happy to have him here. Wrestling fans should be excited.

I like Jackson. I hope they do wrestle a more active style. I watched a few meets the last few years and saw some Douglas meets... honestly the style was a little boring and stale. If they turn up the intensity a bit I might consider going back to a few.
