So I've been tasked with creating some special drinks for a party that some tax accountants are throwing on April 15th, and I thought where better to get ideas than Cyclone Fanatic. They'd like them to be somewhat fruity as most of the accountants are women. They want a shot and a drink. I'm heading to the bar this weekend to sample said drinks so any recipes or just drinks you know of would be great.

TIA

Bahama Mama a good chick drink. Malibu rum, half parts Orange/Pineapple juice (you can buy small cans of this combo), splash of grenadine, etc.

garnish with a cherry and a pineapple chunk.

Very tasty and pleasing to the eye. All about the visual :)

a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster. It induces a feeling almost exactly like slamming yourself in the head with a thin slice of lemon... wrapped around a large gold brick.

My wife always preferred citrus-flavored, not too sweet. If it's hot she liked a good old Tom Collins but in recent years has had problems finding a bar that can make a good simple Tom Collins. Margaritas and gimlets can be fun.

I like Gin & Tonics and Mint Juleps this time of year. (OK I like G&T any time of the year :jimlad: )

Or if you (or they) like mint, some people like mojitos.

I do think that mojitos would be great but I guess I should have mentioned those would be drinks that we mix up a large batch of and dispense from a iced "jug". I think there will be a "bartender" but with only the bare staples and probably minimal tending experience. That's why they want a few special drinks that can be made up in bulk. Mojitos sound like a lot of work to get a large batch done up with all that mint to muddle. Or am I wrong? Not that experienced in the whole drinking arena.

Long Islands are a nice drink that are sweeter but not over the top. Especially nice if the weather is decent for your party.

I tend bar on weekends, and sometimes I like to get creative. The most popular concoction that I've come up with I call 1.21 Jigawatts, obviously a Back to the Future reference. It's kind of a bomb/shot (Includes Red Bull), but it can be made as a regular drink in a pint glass also. It's citrus-y and delicious.

Bacardi Limon/Absolut Citron (depending on if you prefer rum or vodka)
Apple Pucker
Mountain Dew
Red Bull

Teguila Sunrise with some extra kick, maybe some vodka or rum or something. Call it the Cardiac Clone. A little cardinal, a little gold, and won't really hit you until the second half of the party.

Strip and Go Naked - Beer, Lemonade, and Vodka. Easy to produce mass quantities, dangerously delicious.

Are they Cyclone Fans? I drank a "Cyclone Rita" down in KC this weekend. I wasn't a huge fan but the women with me loved it.
1.25 oz Tres Agaves Tequila
.75 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Lime Sour
1 oz Orange Juice
Splash Grenadine
