I can't help you on this one, but if you need information on the DSM rock scene circa 2000-2005, I'm you're guy. RIP Hairy Mary's.
Is there any way I could get a copy on CD?So I'm sitting around a campfire tonight with friends just south of Easter Lake talking about Hard Boys and Fat Baby Rap and here I find this thread. Funny.
A couple years ago we were on the hunt for this cassette and come to discover that one of our groups brother has a copy of it with original artwork down in Texas. We get it up here to Des Moines and we transferred it to CD and made copies for our group.
Still fun to talk about and go 'fat baby rap fat baby rap'. I'll stop there about rolling her in flour lol.
Any chance of being able to purchase a copy of both? I had "A Piece Of The Crease" but can't seem to find it. These songs popped in my head the other day and I'd really like to be able to hear them again. The Hard Boys put out 2 cassette tapes, their debut tape the Hard Boys was released in 1988 and their follow-up, A Piece Of The Crease, was released in 1991. Both produced by SoRivPro Music out of Indianola. They also played at least one concert in Des Moines that I remember but not sure of the date. I have both of the original tapes with the original artwork.
