Re: Dissing Troy

Easy on the Barry Sanders reference. Troy was great for ISU, he was a springboard to national media for ISU. That being said anyone who gets 30+ carries when trailing a football game by 25 points against a prevent defense SHOULD get over 2000 yards a year.

Prevent Defense? Try 11 men in the box. Troy was a LOT more than great for just ISU, he was among the best in college football history. Some fans are able to distinguish this by the "records" and "1st back in college football history" statements on his resume. Of course Barry Sanders was better, but he's probably the best college player of all time.

Is this how you see the record book?

Barry Sanders 2,628
Marcus Allen 2,342
Troy Davis 2,185*
LaDainian Tomlinson 2,158

* Denotes player given yards against prevent defenses when trailing 25 points.
