$43/ mo but no date set. Just “some time this fall” this looks like a hard pass for me.

Interesting that fubo sued, also claimed they were denied this same group of companies from offering a sports only bundle.

Fubo filed its complaint against Venu partners Disney, Fox and Warner Bros Discovery back in February, claiming the startup would all but eliminate competition in the marketplace for sports licensing and streaming.

I got a full year of Hulu with adds for $12 total last Black Friday. They’re advertising the new Futurama on it.
But to point out, that is standard Hulu, not Hulu live Tv. They are 2 very different things, which I am not sure everyone understands. Standard Hulu is actually really cheap for what it is.

Yeah I mean if the person just wants to watch Futurama it's really cheap.

I've seen a lot of confused Hulu customers on Threads asking why Hulu is $80/mo when other streaming services are only $10-20.

It’s very cheap but I find the interface to be maddening and not user friendly. The selection kind of stinks too.

Venu Sports' planning to offer 14 linear channels and ESPN+:

Disney: ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, SECN, ACCN, ESPN+
FOX: FOX, FS1, FS2, BTN
Turner/WBD: TNT, TBS, TruTV

"The platform will include the entirety of the portfolio of live sports rights owned by its parent companies, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, college football and basketball, among others.

Subscribers would have the ability to bundle the product with Disney+, Hulu and/or Max....Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are also planning to bundle their streaming services, Max, Disney+ and Hulu. The upcoming bundle will be priced at $16.99 a month with ads, and $29.99 a month ad-free."

Wait what?

I'm not a big fan, I might like it but never watched it, but it's a new continuation of the series it seems.

They're supposed to bring King of the Hill back on Hulu too of which I am a fan but there have been delays. I think part of it might be some voice cast passed away.

Considering I only buy YoutubeTV for sports, this would be great for me. We don’t watch any network TV, so other than sports, everything else has no benefit.

Wait what?
Yeah, Hulu put out a new season of Futurama last summer and is releasing a new episode every Sunday for the next 10 weeks. First episode of the new season dropped this week.

Yep that’s the entire point of Venu Sports. Yes YTTV is better if your household likes other things besides sports. But if you only really watch sports this avenue is way cheaper than YTTV and you get a lot of linear channels plus ESPN+ As a college sports junkie it’s pretty solid. Until they start raising the price that is.

But will if have the quad view? I've really gotten used to that with YTTV, would be hard to give up now.

This is a good point, but maybe not $40 for most months. May be worth it to sign up for YouTubeTV for one month during March madness though.

Not sure honestly. But is multi-view worth double the price? Idk where that line is for folks. For me, I love multi-view but I watch it because it’s there. I still find myself really only ever locked into around two games at a time. If Venu Sports doesn’t have multi-view that will hurt big time, but if they make it really easy to change between the channels that would help.

Well, first of all, @CyCrazy , your wife in particular is always right. You know I am right!

But we made the same decision a few years back, probably 2020. I did a big spreadsheet analysis of all the different available channels at that time, and YouTube TV won out over Hulu TV and the like. The prices are all fairly comparable. There is no end to sports for us.
