Almost 4:30 in the morning on the island. He is preparing food for his ritual of watching basketball all day. This is a guy that wakes up at 6 in the morning every Saturday during the season and watches games until they are ALL finished. Now that is dedication.

I would love to be able to wake up and watch live games right away. Those several hours from wake up time to 11 in the fall seem to take forever, even with Gameday on. I always volunteer to go grab groceries or whatever to make the time go faster.

He lives is Hawaii and is going to watch TV all day? I guess the scenery wears off eventually.

far from it. This guy is either in or on the water everyday minus about 15 Saturdays. I think he has the right plan.

"Dedication" is not the word that crosses my mind.

My old boss grew up in California and was able to do this for football. It would be nice to wake up and turn on a game right away and be able to watch football the entire day.

I'm glad to hear that. During our month in Jamica we kept asking the different people we met about enjoying their surroundings. Most of them said that they really don't notice it or look at it (like we do). The tourist guys said the loved it.......but I'm gussing that's just their job:smile:
