It's late enough in the season to at least hope for some meaningful projections. On my first run I hopefully have ISU ending at #3 playing #6 OSU. There's a lot that can change - I don't have a lot of confidence in my projected outcomes among our southern members.

ps This program has evolved over the years. I recall the early struggles with tie-breakers. I didn't realize there are other conferences added in the matrix. Awesome work MRED!!

I recall the early struggles with tie-breakers. I didn't realize there are other conferences added in the matrix.

The Big 12 was no help on those tiebreaker issues that weren't covered in the rules. I emailed a few different people, but the only response I ever got was "Here's a link to the tiebreaker rules."

After the conference shrunk to 10 and the divisions disappeared, huge ties became more common and suddenly there were actual real-life cases demonstrating how the conference broke those ties.

I added the Big 10 late last season (after a request from a Nebraska fan) and the SEC, ACC, and Pac 12 this season (after I added code to automate the process of entering scores). The Big 10 MBB one is about as popular as the Big 12 MBB one, but other than those two and the Big 12 WBB one, the others haven't had much visibility yet.

The good news is that if we beat TT and KU, we still finish 3rd and play # 6 OSU. Clearly, we really need a healthy Moody.

If Tx tops OSU tonight we have four teams tied for 3rd. Assuming we go 1-1 I think we finish 9-9, tied for 4th and get the four seed with a winnable game against TCU.

If we finish tied with OSU for 4th, we don't have the tie breaker...we get 5th seed.

There is one way we can win that tiebreaker: If we lose out, OSU loses out, TCU loses out, and KSU wins out, those four teams are in a 4-way tie for 4th at 8-10. All four teams have the same round-robin record, so we win the tiebreaker based on our win over Oklahoma.

Not likely, but it's there.

Really don't want that 4 seed. I'd rather a 6 seed, and avoid getting Baylor in the next round.

In a game that can not affect anything, except maybe a number 1 seed, - OU beats BU 68-64. It does show the Bears are vulnerable - gives us some hope if we can shoot through the pressure. Texas beats OSU and KSU beats KU.

This possibility is still alive.

Unexpected outcomes - KU beat OU on the road; Tx lost to WVU and OSU beat TT on the road. Our win over BU wasn't entirely expected either. Big XII seedings will be undecided until the last game on Tuesday. We can be anywhere from sole possession of 3rd through 5th. Creme has us in the NCAA, but I'm not sure and another win would help.

We'll know ISU's game time in Dallas by 9 p.m. Monday. Beat KU, and OU wins in Stillwater, and ISU is the #3 seed. Any other result and it's the 4/5 game.

Lets hope for that 3 seed. I'd rather face Baylor as late as possible.

If we get the 3 seed, we face Texas if they lose to TCU, and we face OSU otherwise (since the 3-seed scenario already has OSU losing). One team we swept and the other swept us. Honestly, I'm not sure which I'd rather play.

West Virginia will be the 6 if they tie with Texas at 8-10, since they split HTH and WV has better records against TCU and ISU.
