I don't agree with this at all. What if someone used the restroom or went to Johnny's real quick? The seat they paid for is fair game just because you had a worse seat?

This is why all the gray hairs down front don't stand more. They're afraid if the get up out of their seat to cheer for a minute they'll be sitting in 2015's lap when they sit back down.

I'll generally move to better seats around half time when there is a lot of movement. I'll watch the target seats in the first half to ensure no one has been sitting in them.

Generally this worked at Hilton and other venues. One time at the Target Center in a T-Wolves game, we upgraded ourselves (during the Kevin Garnett era) to the sixth row behind the bench at halftime. Part way through the fourth quarter, the seat holders actually showed up to claim their seats. We thought it was odd people would wait that long to take them.

I have no problem with it but don't act like I'm a **** when I ask you to get out of my seats.

In my section, the same guy routinely squats in seats that aren't his. Recently, when getting booted he asked to see their tickets to make sure he was getting booted by the actual ticketholders.

Years ago I went to the NCAA first round in Tucson with another Clone fan. ISU was playing the second game and we moved down to some good seats when the first game ended. Right at game time my buddy gets a tap on the shoulder from Jerry West telling us to move. Might as well get booted by greatness!

I would vote with the 10-15 minutes into the first half is OK. If you showed up that late, would you be shocked someone was in your seat?

That said, I am a conformist and law-abiding, 5mph over the limit kind of guy. We moved down our row (to the center) but no lower, when there was NO ONE in the row in our section or the next section in, during an early non-con laugher of a game that was about 2/3rds full. I still felt like a bank robber, and was looking over my shoulder waiting ot get tazed by an usher. Catholic guilt, or rampant paranoia, or both. IDK.

That takes balls to ask to see tickets when he knows the seat isn't his. What an ***.

Based on the activity on the Ticket Exchange forum here and on Cyclones.com, I think there are going to be more people in Hilton that some are expecting.
