Who's growing their 'stache?

I'm breaking the Movember rules and am starting with a little bit of a mustache (after shaving off the rest of a stubble beard).

Here's a little motivation for those who haven't started yet...

PS, if you want to throw in a small donation in support of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and other men's health issues, I'll rep you every day for a week!

I can't lie...no shave November began for me in October and I have a pretty sweet beard right now. I feel like a West Virginian and I hate to ruin that feeling until after the home game with WVU. Oh, and I can't grow a stache. I approve though colbycheese.

I came home and just kinda told the wife I was trimming my beard. Came back down stairs a few minutes later with a mustache. She hates mustaches... thinks they're creepy. It's for a good cause though, so she's "OK" with it.

You had me at mustache...then you throw in supporting prostate cancer! You sir are a saint and deserve a stellar stache Don Mattingly would be proud of.

My dad died of prostate cancer, so I love this idea. I may have to just tell my wife tough and do it.

I have engagement pics in two weeks, so I only get to have mine for half the month...damn females. I told her it would be so epic to have my **** fu manchu as our pic on the save the dates. She told me to fly a kite.

At work, we combine No shave November with Movember. So, we don't shave for a whole month, and then rock a mustache on 11/30.

I'm joining a bunch of friends in Movember fun by not shaving my upper lip. Unfortunately, I don't know if it will ever get thick enough to be called a Mustache. Maybe when I'm 27 I'll hit puberty.

I too am sporting a wicked Octobeard, and plan on keeping it through the month. The best part is that we've been interviewing engineering candidates and I have a big project closing next week, so I've met 15-20 new people in the last few weeks that only know me with a beard. Pretty awesome.

In college always celebrated this month as No Shave November. When did the Movember thing come around? I am going full beard.

Here's what Movember's wiki says:
Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer anddepression, in Australia and New Zealand. In 2007, events were launched in Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Taiwan and the United States.[SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP]It has spread from Australia to South Africa, Europe and North America.[SUP][6][/SUP][SUP][7][/SUP] As of 2011 Canadians were the largest contributors to the Movember charities of any nation.[SUP][8][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP] In 2010, Movember merged with the testicular cancer event Tacheback.[SUP][10][/SUP]
In 2012 the Global Journal listed Movember as one of the top 100 NGOs (non government organization) in the world. [SUP][11][/SUP]

I never heard of it until 2010, and did No Shave November prior to that.
