Ok, there have been a couple threads where people are bragging about cars with a ton of miles.

Who has the vehicle in working condition (primary vehicle) with the most miles in CF-land and whats the make and model?

My '00 maxima is just shy of 100k, I am sure that is low for this crowd. Never had anything wrong with it other than normal wear and tear stuff, ohh and a new muffler.

I used to have a high miler, but I sold it..... best deal I ever made on a vehicle. Bought a used 1988 S-10 2WD, plain jane nothing truck in 1994 with ~115,000 miles on it for $1500. I drove it back and forth to work for years and all I ever did was oil, tires and brakes and sold it around 2000 for $1200 with 225,000+ miles on the ticker. I was amazed at how well that poor little 4 cylinder still ran and it was on the original clutch.

That's all I have..... I have owned more than 30 vehicles over the years, but usually they get sold way before they rack up high miles.

I'm in the market for a new (used) vehicle that will hopefully have between 30K and 75K miles.

Replaced a...
1998 Dodge Grand Caravan
110,000 miles

The great thing is, I was planning on keeping the Dodge for a few more years even though the air-conditioning didn't work, the breaks needed replacing, there was body damage, it was due for an oil change, and I needed to replace the spare tire, but some idiot pulled right in front of me at an intersection, it was totally his fault and the settlement allowed me to buy a better car, without the problems that mine had, for only $500 more. Not the best way to replace a worn down car, but not the worst.

Before I just got my new (used) truck I had a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 177,000. Bought it cash when I totaled my Mustang. I didn't want to have a car payment untill I had my student loans paid off...

How about least miles for the years. Our 2004 odyssey has 19k miles on it... and we bought it in the summer of 04. So an avg of 6,000 miles a year.

Replaced a 1992 Mercury Cougar with 234,000. I changed the oil about every 6,000-7,000 miles.

The wife's '98 Cadillac STS has 144,000.
