You mean like how John Neal hit the big 3 against Iowa then didn't do much other than that or how Shaggy single handedly beat Iowa but missed many other big kicks in his career? I'm not downplaying what Stinson or Blythe for that matter, they both did some great things here but they both also could drive you crazy at times too. What people remember the most are they were very talented but had just moderate success while here. Talent and winning separates the good from the great.

I don't know where he went but last post he made was removed pretty quickly because he went off on me in some McCarney thread awhile back.

This will be a painful interview unless Wayne has taken some classes on how to do interviews. I remember Walters and Heft having to basically answer the questions for him on the post game interviews because he didn't give you much insight. It's SOOOOO much better listening to Mac on the drive home from Hilton now because you actually hear him take accountability for our mistakes and give you some real insight as to what goes on.

Speaking of Members Only, is Barney still a member? I know we used to get a lot of posts reminding us of him.

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS (Gene Way)
Looking back on Barney playcalling here is the final football comparison:

YEAR.................OFFENSE............DEFENSE......WINS...MISSES
Barney/2006...........317..................392............4...........8
NewGuy/2007..........335.................374............3...........9

We did 18 yards better a game on both sides of ball and lost one more game. Must have been those special teams and turnovers. 6% yardage improvement! 40 yards a game is equivalent to one turnover.
