I disagree flix is below average. Its not my favorite, but I am consistently impressed by their beers and they put out a lot of new stuff. Isn't their master brewer from Iowa?

I haven't been impressed with the beers I've had from mistress, but they are new. Breweries can improve with time. I'll keep giving them chances.

Maybe I shouldn't have said below average.

If I saw their beer at Hy-Vee would I buy it?-Very doubtful
Has anyone ever stood in line to get their beer?-Not that I'm aware
Have I ever had one of their beers and thought "I can't wait to have that again"
Would I go there if their wasn't a movie theater attached? Maybe if I went shopping with my wife.

I've had 7 beers from them. Lupulus IPA and Oats Mcgoats were not good, 4 were average, Umbra is pretty good and they had one NEIPA that wasn't too bad.

I guess you're right, not too bad.

I like the space, but I'm biased since I live in the neighborhood. I like their black IPA, and their ESB works. The faux balconies aren't needed, but it doesn't bother me.
