I don't believe him at all. They played dirty and like thugs. They did in other games also. He could have stopped it and benched his players.
**** Baylor.
I hope we embarrass them at home with an ass stomping win.

I think Rhule is a good coach, not the greatest guy. I do think him and campbell have a similar coaching philosophy, however, which lends itself the hard nosed mentality boiling over into something more.

I don't think that he can stand there and say that the players let it get out of hand, that's just not something that should be said as a head coach (outside of maybe Isiah Thomas and Larry Brown in the Malice at the Palace)

Rhule is a good coach but someone that's always gonna sniff around.

I personally think Rutgers will make a hard run at him.

Interesting quotes from Matt Rhule. Basically says that last year the players let the game get out of hand due to the intensity, importance of the game and the 'awesome atmosphere'. Respects Matt Campbell and the way ISU plays the game.

Oh yeah. That guy is the post child for building a great culture.

Things did get out of hand, but I don't think that Rhule is a bad guy. He's done a hell of a job there.

He has done a good job.

I am frankly shocked he is still there.

Considering the jobs he has done at Temple and Baylor, he could be in line with some big-time jobs in college football or the NFL relatively soon.

Yeah, he has definitely looked around some, which makes you wonder if he really wants to be there. How he's rebuilt that program with those kind of rumors out there (plus all the negative publicity that their program earned under Briles) is pretty amazing.

Pretty sure he gets a lot of calls from the league after CMC says nope to them.
