AMES, Iowa – Iowa State libero Ashley Mass has been named to the U.S. Women’s National A2 Program roster.

The rising senior and two-time Big 12 Libero of the Year is one of four liberos named to the program, which includes 24 collegiate student-athletes. The Muskego, Wis. native was one of 39 liberos to try out for the prestigious program.

Mass became Iowa State’s first AVCA All-America first-team selection in 2009, the first libero to earn first-team honors since 2004. She led the Big 12 with 5.49 digs per set and was 10th in the nation.
