Cy has his feathers full on this mascot challenge. He can still win, but it's going to take some serious voting. The graphic below is the recommended vote, revised per other's recommendations and the new knowledge of a playoff system for the top 6. Mascots have averaged about 27,500 votes per week by my count. If we get an automated strategy going, maybe we could overwhelm everybody. Using Google Chome in incognito mode allows multiple votes to be cast, but I don't know how to speed up the process. I'll leave that to the students to figure out.

Maybe I am missing something but I don't know why we would vote for The Bird over Thunder. Thunder is in no matter what but The Bird could pass us if he wins and catches up with vote difference (which is only 700).

How does this work? Is there a playoff of the top mascots or something? I was just figuring this was it.

There is a playoff between the top 6 mascots. We just need to make it in the top 6 at the end of this week.

Then I'm a little fuzzy about how the voting process will work.

Having said that, I think you might need to revamp your voting strategy graphic.

Yeah I believe there is a playoff with the last six, assuming the top two get byes and so on.
Here is what they have on the site:
Every Monday we tally votes from the previous week to bring you the latest standings. The overall win-loss record determines the mascot rankings, with tiebreakers being determined by total votes. After the 11th week of regular season matchups, the top six mascots will advance to the playoffs.

Along the same line, someone in another thread pointed out that it's best if buster defeats smokey by the narrowest margin possible so that we can overtake buster in total votes. At this point, it's best not to give buster any more votes unless he slips behind smokey.

as long as cy gets into playoffs we will be fine and a win this week should do that so we should be good guys, so everyone take a breath and everything is going to be fine.

everything goes back to scratch once playoffs start. so unless cocky stages some miraculous comeback Cy will be just fine.
