Are you kidding me? They're one of the few teams left that play real baseball. Great farm system and they don't just buy home run hitters. They manufacture runs to grind it out and when. They're also getting a new outdoor stadium, so that arguement is dead. And the arguement about uniforms is too rediculous to even comment on.

As a White Sox fan I have to agree with this. As much as I downright hate the Twins, I have a huge deal of respect for their manager and the way they play the game. The fact that they can lose two their best players in this past off-season and still be competitive is a testament to the Twins organization.
Well....their interleague record is 10-3 if I am correct....to me than means they're more than able to play national league ball. Also, they're in the American league....what do you want them to do? Have their pitcher hit when no one else does?
I like Marty and Miller. I don't like there topics a lot of the time. I don't like Horse racing. I hate when they have the umpire on. I know he has insite but his voice makes me want to drive into a bridge. It also seems like they have guests on at the wrong time. Like 5:00 p.m they will have some interview that I don't care for. Otherwise Marty probably crossed the boundry on this one. Lucky he aint fired. I used to like that Holden Cushner. Not sure if that is the correct name spelling or even if that is the right name. That kid was pretty good.

If I'm negative towards the AL with their use of the DH odds are I'm not a fan of the Yankees.

I think it's more a testament to just how bad the AL Central is this year. That being said, I AM impressed with the 7 straight and 9 of 11...

Eh I have no problem with the Cubs. Twins swept them last time they played so I can't complain.

Worst part about all this is that the M&M show's ratings will probably be through the roof on thursday as people tune into to catch the drama.

I think the Twins would have been a much better NL team than an AL team. I can't remember the last time they had a decent DH. That is a black hole for that team, even Big Papi struggled as a DH for the Twinkies.... I love their lineup though, speed, contact, power...

At least the Twins have made the World Series three times since the Cubs last made it, 20 years separating the two occasions, and the Twins winning two of them.
Get back to me when the Cubs actually getting around to winning a championship...
