Mars Rover Landing

Didn't see a thread about this already, but NASA is attempting to land their Perseverance rover on Mars today! Here is the NASA YouTube link for anyone interested!

Forgot to add, should start around 1:30 PM CST with the landing around 2:55 PM.

Much easier to film the rovers there rather than getting people to "jump" in low gravity. Can see why NASA doesn't do moon landings anymore!

My baby brother started working for JPL just over a year ago. More of a project manager than an engineer. He says the excitement this past week has been out of this world. (My pun, not his.) I'm jetting home (haha, another one) ASAP to catch the landing.

It looks like they want to try for 2026 and have them return to Earth by 2031.
