Should be an entertaining show if nothing else.

For all those voicing negatives, who else would you put up there (that has name recognition, which is what the halftime show is about)?

Why don't they get a hip-hop artist like Drake or Kendrick? No one under the age of 30 wants to listen to Maroon 5
Probably because with most hip hop artists these days, they would be bleeping a lot of words. They don’t exactly have the cleanest, family friendly lyrics.

top of my head...hmmm
Chili Peppers (deserve more than a 3 minute cameo, they are incredible live)
Green Day
Ariana Grande (not a fan but would pretty obviously be a drastically better draw)
Taylor Swift, has she done it?
Rihanna, has she done it?
Arcade Fire
Adele
Not a country music fan but guessing there would be a few bigger names than Maroon 5

2 or 3 of these may tell them to pound sand given cave subjects.

People under 30 are not the one's that make the NFL profitable.

Next !
Well, they are the future so... The NBA gets this, which is why the NBA is becoming more popular. The NBA always has rappers or celebrities at games and performing for all-star weekend. The NFL is lacking in that department.

Well, they are on the radio all the time and consistently on the top 100 chart. That is just a bad reason for not having a hip-hop artist.

Apples and Oranges IMO.

When is the last time you were invited to a NBA Final's party?

The two sports have different audiences in several ways.

Yuck. But I understand they have to go the pretty safe route.... and boring route.

U know Cardi B will be making an apperance and dropping hot lyrics like “rev it up like a Harley”.

Rappers are hitting so hard these days. I hear that Cardi B line and it takes me back to “Hit em Up”. It’s so real and raw it gives me goosebumps.

Just bring out Snoop on a little bike and whoever else he wants on stage with him and all will be fine.
