Like the "He Hate Me" player from the old pro league that lasted about a year.

You are totally dissing Rod Smart. 1 year XFL, five years NFL. A better career than most. Certainly not bad for a player out of Western Kentucky.

I hate it too. Why shorten the games? Why reduce the number of close, edge of your seat finishes? So we can listen to more talking heads tell us about how great Notre Dame is? No thanks.

For those thinking that he may be upset at the rules because they lost, Mack Brown has been vocal about his displeasure of the new rules even after the North Texas game.

I hate the new rules as well. I do think that the NCAA will drop this rule next year.

Texas got trounced on their own field. I'll bet Mack is worried and was blowing off some steam.

OSU looked scary good.

I love the new rule myself brings a tougher game for teams to play no more lazily getting to the ball and makes decision making tougher. better make the call fast and right or take a timeout.

what I didnt like was all the time UNLV got under review

 Missouri also ain't bad with Chase Daniel. Chase moves like an armadillo on the field.

Can anyone believe that we have Meier of KSU and Meier of KU and Meyer of ISU all starting at the same time? Not sure Coplorado does not need their own Meyer/Meier. Maybe they will play Hawkins Jr.

I'll bet anything the rule will be dropped after this year. There's going to be a big game where this new rule will basically determine the winner and folks will get very upset.

Speaking of commercial time and hype, the Big Red are disfavored by 19 points at USC. They better strap on their chin straps.

I believe the reason behind it was to keep the number of plays the same after adding the 12th game. So basically, the same number of plays plus 1 more game equals more money and same player injury risk.

I'm not sure if I like the new rules yet or not. Sure the game goes fast but it really improves the underdogs chances. Look what UNLV did against us. We had the ball once in the whole 4th quarter. A good ball control team could really limit the other team's chances and that's the name of the game when it comes to upsets.
