Marty starts off the show saying that ISU fans need a leader right now, and JP came off as wishy washy to him:rolleyes:

I watched the whole presser. JP was NOT wishy washy. He was straight forward and focused. He is on the same track he has always been on. He wants the best head coach to get ISU wins. What is wishy washy about that?

If what you typed is true, that Marty said this...

Barta better than JP....handled the situation (rape) in IC with Class.

Then I hope their radio program falls flat on its face. Because that is total BS for many reasons...

- Coaches leaving and coaching searches are in no way related to handling rape cases. Pathetic they would draw similarities between the two.
- I can't see how anything in Iowa City was handled with class regarding the rape, but that subject has been beaten to death.'

Finally, what part of JP was in any way, shape or form wishy-washy? The guy was firm, definite in what he would seek and clear in how it would be done - the exact same way the last 2 searches were conducted.

They're still a lot more fun to listen to than the slow, measured, monotone style of Jon Miller. He is not made for radio - so boring.

Ah good old Martha! Next thing you know he'll have Pollard on the phone and his nose way up where the sun don't shine and tell Pollard that Chizik did him a favor by leaving, etc. He does this all the time, he'll throw anyone under the bus then when he gets them in studio or on the phone he's a complete kiss-a__ to them.
