Losing Scholarships?

There are a lot of rumors floating around "other" sites that we're going to be losing basketball scholarships because of the APR rule by the NCAA. Rumor is that we're hurt by all of the transfers because they count against the academic progress rate.

Is there any truth to this? I haven't heard this in any official circles.

The concensus changes every day and from those that I've spoken to, there really isn't any way to judge until something actually happens. The coaching staff is preparing for it incase it does happen but it's better to be prepared than caught with your pants down.

Up to two scholarships can be taken away but at this time it's way too early to guess. First ISU has to finish their investigations and then the NCAA will decide if they want to investigate things.
