Chanting F KU after winning the Big 12 is a glaring endorsement of that.
If KState is taking up space in the brain of KU - then KU has a long term lease in whatever brain space you have.

Much was made of the chant as further validation in Ku's cranium. I've already said that. I was in Bramlage. The chant lasted 30-40 seconds and died away. The loathing for Ku by K-Staters is not in debate. And F...Ku goes back decades to when the series was 50/50. Like EMAW, it's nothing new.Chanting F KU after winning the Big 12 is a glaring endorsement of that.

Wade played little in their E8 run last year. But the point is correct, without him K-State takes a huge hit, no question.
Even more fortunate than playing a #13 and a #12 to reach the Sweet 16.Playing an 8, 16, and a 5 sure helps...
A #1 seed earns the right to get easier games in the first 2 rounds by beating a bunch of really good teams during the regular season. It is a result of accomplishment, not dumb luck. Why do we always have the argument on what seeds a team plays? Teams typically earn their seeds and can only play who's in their bracket. No one rags on a 1 seed for only having to play a 16 and an 8 team to get to the second weekend. Plus upsets are part of the tournament...
Translation: KSU has been classless and gross for decades.Much was made of the chant as further validation in Ku's cranium. I've already said that. I was in Bramlage. It's one thread among hundreds of active threads.I wish this site was not part-time EMAW Fanatic.
How many times has KU been victims of that dumb luck?A #1 seed earns the right to get easier games in the first 2 rounds by beating a bunch of really good teams during the regular season. It is a result of accomplishment, not dumb luck.
A low seeded team getting a bunch of low seeded opponents is just dumb luck.
It SHOULD have been all about them. Which is why it was so unfortunate that the program chose to launch into the "F^#k KU" song right after the game ended. That's the point. These three youngsters went from worst to first over their four years. This championship is about them, not Ku.
To earn the right to play a #8 and a #16 seed en route to the Sweet Sixteen, Kansas had to win the Big 12, win the Big 12 tourney, win @ #3 seed Texas Tech, beat #5 seed West Virginia three times, beat #5 seed Kentucky, beat #6 seed TCU 2 times, beat #7 seed Texas A%M, beat #9 seed Kansas State three times, beat #10 seed Texas 2 times, beat #10 seed Oklahoma, beat #11 seed Syracuse, beat #12 seed South Dakota State and beat #16 seed Texas Southern. How many times has KU been victims of that dumb luck?
Those low seeds didn’t win coin tosses.
No one is questioning the seeding. If you’re going to put an asterisk on a tournament run as less of an achievement due to the ease of path, it equally applies to teams that had good seeds.
Less likely to happen? Of course. Less deserving? Sure. Easier? Well, so are most teams draws that go on deep runs.
Who cares, they still won the games that they played, unlike the higher seeded team that lost.To earn the right to play a #8 and a #16 seed en route to the Sweet Sixteen, Kansas had to win the Big 12, win the Big 12 tourney, win @ #3 seed Texas Tech, beat #5 seed West Virginia three times, beat #5 seed Kentucky, beat #6 seed TCU 2 times, beat #7 seed Texas A%M, beat #9 seed Kansas State three times, beat #10 seed Texas 2 times, beat #10 seed Oklahoma, beat #11 seed Syracuse, beat #12 seed South Dakota State and beat #16 seed Texas Southern.
To earn the right to face a #8 seed and a #16 seed en route to a Sweet Sixteen, Kansas State just had to finish 4th in the Big 12, lose in the big 12 tourney semis, beat a #6 seed TCU 2 times, a #10 seed Oklahoma and a #10 seed Texas 2 times.
So no, the paths aren't "equal".

Just cheer for your team and dont dont look like pretty little brothers. Act like you expect to win and winning won't look like such a shock to the outside world.
I don’t think anyone is claiming it wasn’t lucky.I think it is obvious that some teams get easier runs and some get historical breaks. For KSU to get a 16 in a second round game has literally never happened. To say they didn't get lucky in that regard is just ignoring the facts. Not all teams that have deep runs get historic breaks like that. Sometimes a bracket is mostly chalk. Some time it is somewhere in between.
