Lift tickets on jackets...

Why do I see people on campus with ski lift tickets still attached to their jackets? Most of them are being picked up at MWL, so draw your own conclusions. Anybody else see this?

I still have one on my jacket from Deer Valley from 3 weeks ago. I don't know what conclusion to draw from this, other than that fact that I've been too lazy to get a knife out and cut it off.

Do they have a season pass to Seven Oaks?
And if it was a season pass, couldn't Seven Oaks use something more durable than those paper thin lift tickets, like Credit Card plastic?

This was the primary reason why I always had one on my winter jacket, I was just too lazy to remove it.

The places I go in CO allowed you to wear it under your gear and they just scan you as you head into the lift. Pretty painless.

Same trip to Utah I went to Alta and they had an RFID chip pass also. Much nicer than the kryptonite zip-tie from hell which is still on said jacket.

What does it take 30 seconds to remove it? When I'm skiing in CO and I have a day pass I remove it at the end of the day. It's easier than taking off my ski boots.

It says to me "hey look at me I've been skiing!"

When you go to an event where you have to wear a beer bracelet do you also leave it on for 3 weeks?

same people that wear jeans on the mountain are the same people that wear their tag outside the coat and after they leave the mountain.
also these are the people on campus that wear jean shorts and high tops.

Like putting various touristy bumper stickers on your car, or the old school days of putting touristy stickers on your suitcase/trunk. Some people do it to show off all the cool places they've gone.

I don't have issues with the people that put stickers on their cars where they've been or on their suitcases. It's just something about a lift ticket left on a coat that annoys me.

I'm trying to decide which is more annoying, the lift ticket on coat guy or the license plate sticker guy that doesn't believe in sticking them on top of each other.
