Cool article. Above it was a McAfee/Rodgers clip. That's hilarious that McAfee keeps having him on.

Not sure Lazzard has the NFL career that had without Aaron Rodgers. He saw something in him and he became a guy he trusted to throw the ball to. Just look at how bad he looked in 2023 after Rodgers went down in game 1. Wilson didn't complete a pass to him more than 3 times and he had the least yards and TD too. The previous year Rodgers was consistently completing passes to him 4 to 6 times most games.

Thanks for sharing.
Cool of AL to give credit, where credit is due.
Can't help but to wonder, minus AR, how AL's career would have worked out
A big percent of players that succeed in the NFL are a result of being a good fit in a system. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. There is no shame in that. Plenty of really skilled players never get a footing.

Wasn't there a part of the story where Lazard got Rogers's attention early in team meetings where Lazard paid attention and really learned what he was supposed to learn?

And if their production out paces their cost. Teams love that

I generally can't stand Rodgers, but I'm really glad that Lazard found a friend/mentor in him. As long as he doesn't turn into that kind of jack ass off the field (which I highly doubt from everything I've ever heard about him and his family).
