This post has some interesting data that isn't just confined to a meltdown type thread. While the data might be negative I do think it is interesting. Does our play on the court have to reflect that data? Doesn't have to...but we will see...

You are right, but then you read the last sentance and the various other posts by this user. Everyone wants their own little meltdown thread so they can feel important.

Iowa #62 - expect loss
Houston #52 - maybe loss
Jacksonville State #98 - maybe loss
Houston Baptist #343-expect win, one of the ten worst teams in basketball
Hawaii ##227 - should have won
SIU Edwardsville - #321 one of the ten worst reams in bball, expect win
SDSU - #277 - expect win
Miss Valley State - #327 won, one of the ten worst teams in bball
Mercer - #162 expect win
Creighton - #45 local team

Just looking at how the teams are playing, we might expect three more non conference losses and up to fourteen conference losses. Looks like someone has their work cut out for them. And this is replyu to people saying 6-2 is okay. Not according to Sagarin. The Hawaii game shouyld havbe been a gift.

Right now Sagarin shows 7 of ten MVC teams playing at a higher level than our team which resides in the 11th position in Big 12. So we would be in the bottom half of the MVC if we switched leagues. This shows we must pick up and play much better. This is Year Three of the Change.
