1. They took Steve Octavien red shirt away from him in practice (they the watching crowd reported amazingly). Stevce huret himself in first half of Maine last year. Saturday he made one tackle. Hee is thought to be the linebacking stud or LB Savior. May not happen. Bo (local, slower, not as strong) Ruud starts ahead of him now. Bo had zero tackles. Garn can tell you who made all the tackles in Lincoln. Funny thing is triple option is coming to towen and linebackers need to perform. Word had it that Steve might be over weight. Maybe linebacking depth may be gone by the time the Big Red Machine hits town. :frown3qg:
2. NE must concentrate on beating Nicolls State said Wild Bill. About 120 fans believed him. Everyone else is evaluating USC.:no6xn:
3. 81000 seats but bad planning. Huge line to get into game. Huge line to go to bathroom. Huge line to leave the game. Yes, they just keep cramming more bodies into same space. The line of sight on third decker was atrocious for some ticked off fans. Not well planned, but the extra bucks is already paying for the expanmsion just like qwe plan to do if we could sell out the student section. After all, if you cannot sell, out a smaller stadium, why expand for either the NE and Iowa games. Hope ticket sales continue.
4. Secondary has problems. Tackles were missed. Four balls were dropped. Just another season opener.:sweet:

Last year the tickets I bought through the ISU athletic department were basically behind a scoreboard; couldnt see 1/8 of the field.

He must have meant to say black shirt instead of red shirt. Or maybe it was a red shirt. NE gave out 15 precious black shirts to their defense. Boy, they hurt Steve Ocavien where it counted - a $10 buck shirt taken away. Guess he must not practice hard enough.

Maybe we should give out gold shirts to our best defense people.

Speaking of poor vision, they sold many seats to their own fans in new section that were just as pathetic. You would thinmk they could have done a computer model of stadium expansion and fixed the seating problems just like baseball stadium people do. Or maybe they just said, we let's just ***** these new people anyway.

It took some people half an hour to get to their seats after they were in the stadium. Ha-ha. A full stadium means no easy toilets, can't get to your squished seats, can't buy adfequate refreshments, and suffer thru traffic jams till Sunday. Yes, that is the price for a successful program that went 7-5 last year. Priceless.
