The Geek squad is the biggest rip off known to man.

I am suprised you found a screen so cheap. Generally they are closer to $150 depending on the computer.

As for Cyguy, your laptop has a burt out back light. These can be a little harder to find replacement parts for depending on the laptop.

The first one I found was $300. When I googled the model number, I found a couple around $80 and several around $150. Obviously good margins have attracted more competition driving prices down. I was expecting to pay $150-$200.

Most of the ones I replace are on dell's they are not bad on the price on them but you can find screens on ebay cheaper at times.

They are getting alot cheaper. But it also depends on how old the laptop it is. The older the laptop the more expensive the screen is.
