Well, there is more to the story.

I sold my tickets to a solid Cyclone fan who had good faith that my donor tickets would be in a decent location. Wrong! 300 level corner, high row. So, I refunded his money to allow him to get the seats he thought he was buying. I won't do to him what ISU Tickets (KU Tickets) did to me.

So, my 4 tickets are back on the market. I see that the lowest priced tickets on Stub Hub are $50 + fees. Anybody want my tickets for $40 each (no fees)? I'm assuming that once you get into the stadium, you will be able to move and find better seats.
Curious, why would you assume that at an away game? Visitors always get crap.

I have no expectations at Kinnick, etc. But, I thought it might be different because it was being held in a "neutral" venue. Fire away with the dumb emojis! I deserve them.

P.S. I made this choice months ago and forgot that I bought them. I've been advising others to wait until right before the game to get tickets. Then, last week, I discover that I had ordered tickets and am one of the chumps who got stuck with bad tickets.

But it's not neutral, it's KU's home field this season

I think that was a pretty fair assumption to make. Stuffing visitors in the upper corner of a large stadium KU knew would be half empty is a pretty big d!ck move.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. We have been to games at Oklahoma, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Baylor, Kansas State in the past few years. We are not always in the upper deck. We place a priority on being in Iowa State sections. I realized we have purchased from Iowa State clubs - like the Iowa State Club of Cincinnati and the DFW Iowa State Club and that may be the difference. I am assuming the ticket demand was huge for this game. Maybe there are a few Iowa State tickets in the lowers for large contributors?

No it isn't.
#1 they weren't expecting to be hot garbage. This was supposed to be a great game before the season.
#2 of course they want to sell the **** tickets at the highest price they can get so they can get better prices on the remaining tickets.

Nothing about this is a **** move. It's exactly how almost the entire industry handles things.

This isnt how UNLV did it though. There were a ton of lower corner seats sold to ISU for that game and thats for Allegiant which is their normal home field.

They also didnt open up the entire balcony for sale until other sections sold out. The drama was whether they would open more or not and at what price.

I think a better option for Kansas would have been to had 2 tiers with higher price option for guaranteed lowers and been clear about the $110 tickets being upper corner.

Except most in this industry and any other business for that matter won't leave 35K pieces of inventory priced where it will never sell...
You can try to sell at the highest price possible but you can't just set them at that price point and not move any. This is beyond ridiculous from a conference peer and from a business perspective. Unless of course their strategy all along has been to try and keep ISU fans out of Arrowhead. which they will also fail at doing...
