KSU hires new AD

K-State hires Currie as new athletic director - Kansas City Star

Looks like a solid hire.

Does anybody know what happened to the AD who hired Bob Huggins? I remember some national people saying that KSU had sold it's soul to the devil when they hired him.

I'm going off memory which is dangerous but I believe they have had some turnover in that position. I think the AD who hired Huggy and Ron Prince is now working for the Big XII conference. The latest one (who hired Synder) took aonther positon with KSU (not sure if it was related to athletics). Since the new is guy from the SEC (Tennesee) his standards and ethics should fit well with Synder and Martin.

KSU is interesting for me. They're very similar to us in a lot of ways.
