I was thinking it would be awesome if there was a way to connect cyclone fans with growing children to each other to exchange/buy used clothing. I've got some stuff I don't want to waste on squak family and I'm always looking for inexpensive stuff for the kids. They'd wear ISU stuff everyday if A) I could afford it and B) I dressed them in the morning. As it stands, my 20 month old twins are down to their I-State socks and baseball caps and look pretty silly running around in those and a diaper during gameday...

Just gauging interest for now, so post here if this is something you'd be inclined to participate in and we can go from there.

Great idea. My office mate and fellow Cyclone fan has a couple of boys that are a little younger than my two boys. I gave him a sweet 2T basketball shirt today with an old school Cy on it.

That's a great idea. I'd love to get my little girl a cheerleader outfit or jersey, but don't want to spend $60 on something that will fit her for six months.

Exactly! Living in MSP, I pay top dollar for stuff when I'm in Ames cuz I don't just happen across it randomly.

Not to thread jack, but it'd be nice to have a buy/sell forum on here.

Angie, I was just at Marshall's in DSM yesterday and they had all sizes of Nike ISU cheerleading outfits for little girls. I think they were less than $20.

I agree this would be great for ISU related items. Not so much for people listing their dorm couches, cars, and etc. That stuff could go on craigslist or ebay. When I'm on CF, I'm only interested in cyclone "niche" stuff.

I also think this is a great idea. I've got a 2 year old son and a 8 year old daughter that have out grown most of their ISU stuff as well that I'd sell/trade to get bigger sizes.

not completely related to this thread, but TJ Maxx closest to valley west has a bunch of Nike Dry fit ISU clothing for little kids prob like ages 4-10 or so (dont have kids). Its like 12-20 bucks for normally expensive stuff.

That's fantastic!! Is Marshall's down by Merle Hay? I'm actually heading to DSM tonight. Thank you!

2.5. She wears a 3T shirt because her torso is so long, and anywhere from 24 months to 2T in pants (because her legs are not).
