That Texas game in 2013 was the all time screw job, Texas had 7 first downs on pass interference. Then George took the ball away and they called it dead, THEN they fumbled the next play and I am pretty sure we recovered, and yes they gave it to Texas. Lot of really suspicious stuff going on in that one. Horrific officiating.

Cool seeing how well he is doing, even in the face of some real adversity.

This is one of those games where I remember exactly where I was. I was sitting in a parking lot listening to John and Eric on XM radio. Even not seeing it, I was red hot pissed off about how it turned out.

Wasn't that the same game where a Texas player tried to take out Broomfield with a cheap shot?

The pain of that Texa$ game was felt around the world. I was in India. It was one of the few times that I've used a bootleg streaming service.

Great player. Enjoyed watching him.
He had a similar college career trajectory to Noel in that he was always mentioned early on in his career as someone who was going to be great, but for the first couple of years couldn’t really put it all together. Then the light came on for him as a Junior and he really stepped up. Great player.

The 2 times when I was most angry leaving an Iowa State game was that game and the Kansas basketball game where the fan went after Self.

This was an all time fix game. A day or two before that game Mack Brown announced he was done at Texas iirc. Texas "had to win." ESPN was having nothing else. There were Texas fans near me in the stadium. I made no friends. It was this day I found out how strongly money controls the sport.
