I like the visual; it unfortunately does prove the Big 12 has a lot of "good" teams but lacks having more than one great title contender that the B10/ACC has.

I wonder what it is about the big 10/ACC that is different from the Big 12 that causes this?

I would like another home-and-home with Cincinnati.

Seems like we are the mirror opposites of each other as a program.

And this is for the past 10 years? If so, it seems rather meaningless to me. For this year, it would be useful.

I think it is useful as a quantification of program "reputation" (e.g., fun-and-gun versus grind-in-out depending on how far is your bias in either the offensive or defensive direction) and "standing" (e.g., how good are you, how far to the upper-right). Iowa State is known for its offense and is to the bottom-right, and K-State for its defense (and to the upper-left).

Ask any one of us the "royalty" or top 5-6 programs of college basketball right now, and they would probably give you a list a lot like Duke, UNC, Nova (two championships lately), Gonzaga (almost won one), Kentucky, Kansas, and maybe like Virginia. This quantifies it.

Would someone kindly explain the graphics for me/us?
Draw a line on a 45 degree angle from upper left cutting to lower right and then pass it over the grid from the top right corner moving towards the bottom left corner and you will have a decently ordered list of the best teams of the last decade.

Duke, Kansas, Kentucky top 3. ISU appears to be about 17th or so. I didnt look for KSU yet.
